The West Cambie neighbourhood is bordered by Bridgeport Road to the north, Shell Road to the east, Westminster Highway to the south, and the south arm of the Fraser and River Road to the west.

With approximately 36 percent of families in the West Cambie catchment area with children at home, the neighbourhood is well served by Richmond School District No. 38 with their solid reputation for excellence in public education. Local West Cambie elementary schools with grades K to 7 include Talmey and MacNeil Schools. Nearby there’s Anderson Elementary for early French Immerision, and James Whiteside Elementary for late French Immersion. Minutes away is historic Henry James Cambie high school opening in 1928, the first secondary school in Richmond with grades 8 to 12. West Cambie Children’s Centre, Pui Ying Richmond Chinese School & Kwantlen Polytech on Lansdowne Road all add to the education options with West Cambie families. Closeby is the BCIT Aerospace Technology Campus near Burkeville.
